Ever conscious of planning for our future LW Hydraulics is installing solar systems at our Unanderra and Mackay operations this week. The decision was made earlier this year as part of our ongoing improvement initiatives for the business. After a lengthy assessment process of reputable suppliers, the contract was awarded to Unified Energy Services in April.
Installation will be completed this week with both systems covering our total power supply needs for the business operations, and excess power generated being sold back to the electricity grids.
