Year in Review

22nd December 2022

The team at LW Hydraulics enjoyed another great year with several new product designs being launched successfully and our diversification strategy gaining further momentum with two new product agreements.

We successfully commissioned our first ever complete monorail mounted OE pump system for one of our major customers in Qld. The system is the most technological advance pump system we have ever designed with extraordinary amount of control and automation monitoring included in the design.

The team also supplied locally designed and manufactured Kamat Diesel High Pressure pump power unit into Tassal Aquaculture in Tasmania. Two systems were delivered with more in the pipeline. We also began supporting Future Generation Joint Venture operating the Snowy Hydro 2 tunnel boring project. Kamat pumps have been supplied as part of the Herrenknecht TBMs and we are supporting aftermarket activities.

In May we attended the Drill 22 Expo in Adelaide SA resulting in new clients coming on board for our Dynaset product range, especially our customised dust suppression systems for drill rigs and excavators. It has been a very good year for our dust suppression systems and huge potential to grow our supply for these systems next year.

The company invested heavily in solar systems for our Unanderra and Mackay operations as part of our continued investment in the business and began to broaden our recycling efforts within the business.

We are very pleased to secure our exclusive Distributor agreements for Delta Xero Filtration (UK) for offline filtration systems and Habermann Auram Pumps (Germany) for their pump and valve products. Both brands have huge potential in the Australian and NZ markets across many industry applications and will be key focus areas moving through 2023.

The team is very busy with repair and rebuild activity and have secured another 4 upgrade contracts for long-term customers which will all be delivered in 2023. A very positive way to close out 2022.

We wish everyone a safe and joyous Christmas and Happy New Year; we cannot wait to catch up in 2023.
