The Mackay workshop is busy once again, with an overhaul of a 1000V FLP Salvage Pack for a key customer.
From being stripped down, all major framework was received back in this week, which had a blast and paint completed, including NDT.
The team has overhauled the Kamat pump and all associated valving for the salvage pack, whilst getting all ancillary items ready for reinstallation. The reassembly work has now begun in earnest, with all overhauled equipment being installed back onto the unit for completion, getting ready for on power functional testing.
A good way to finish of 2023, with the Mackay team ready to commence the next project, when LWH returns to work from the 2nd of January , 2024.
