A new year and a new apprentice making her start with us in Mackay. Halle was involved in her first full repair this week, of an emulsion-driven submersible pump that we developed several years ago for our longwall mining customers.
Working alongside one of our senior tradesmen and Shane (our third-year apprentice), the repair and rebuild was successfully completed and dispatched.
Being a Mackay local and completing all her schooling in Mackay, Halle made up her mind that after school she would like to one day pursue a career in a mechanical-based role. We are very pleased to provide her with the opportunity to start her four-year apprenticeship with LW Hydraulics, on her way to becoming a fully qualified Mechanical Fitter.
